11 acres of land bordered by the Motupiko river, the Golden Downs
forest and sheep, beef and dairy farms, all framed by blue mountain
ranges.The Lodge was the farm homestead of Blue Glen Station, owned
by the Kerr family, early pioneers of the area. The Lodge was built
in 1914 by local craftsmen using beautiful native timbers milled on
and around the property. In the last 10 years the Lodge has been completely
but sensitively remodelled, retaining the character and ambience of
the past but providing the comforts and facilities expected by the
discerning traveller of today.
